For over 40 years Tammie Lynne has been writing short stories, articles, blogs, poetry and contest submissions among other creative endeavors. Just before her mom passed in 2017, Tammie promised her she’d publish her first novel and she kept that promise.

Tammie is new to the book publishing world with her Award winning novel, In the Dead of Night, released March 2024. She’s taken the writing world by storm with this suspense, action-packed novel that hints at romance, and has drawn in her readers while capturing the hearts of her fans.

Drawing inspiration from her love of the outdoors, Tammie’s narratives often feature vivid descriptions of nature, mirroring her passion for hiking in the rainforests of BC, kayaking on the Thompson River and lakes wherever she goes, and swimming. This connection to the natural world infuses her stories with a sense of authenticity and depth, creating immersive reading experiences.

Despite her thrilling plots and heart-pounding twists, Tammie’s core value remains clear: God first, family second. This personal philosophy shines through in her character development and emotional resonance, adding layers of complexity to her storytelling.

When she’s not traveling and writing you’ll find her either in Midway, BC with her dad or Oliver, BC where her son lives.
