Wednesday has snuck up on me! I decided today was a good day to just stay home and write. No treks out and about… yeah good luck with that.

Up at 5AM again, writing with a hot cup of coffee in hand and my writing companion keeping me company…

She did a really good job making sure I didn’t get distracted… ha ha ha ha We were actually enjoying a thunder and lightening show outside. Well I was, she didn’t care for being disturbed. It rained pretty good during the storm, which we need badly. So many fires around us, I hope the rain helped. Now if it would only rain again like it did this morning.

As it got brighter out, Dad texted me if I could do an errand for him. Sure! No problem… let me just wait till the deer are done having breakfast then I’ll go for a walk to get things done for my Dad. Rain went to a mist so it was pleasant to walk into town.

Yeah this little guy decided to leave me a present first …

Needless to say I ended up walking into town 3 times today for errands for Dad and one for me. So much for staying home and just writing… hee hee I did finally got a heating pad though! Yeah!!!

I was very productive today in spite the interuptions. I am almost done the written draft of my novel. It should be finished either tonight or first thing in the morning and then type it up over the next couple days, and get it ready for the edits.

I’m grateful that I had this time to totally focus on my writing while resting my body, mind and soul here at Dad’s place away from reality.
