All the big rush, rush, scramble, hurry is over… now what do you do? Are you a big “hurrah! Pack up the Christmas decorations and clean” kind of person? Or do you prolong your Christmas till after Jan 1st?

Normally I pack up on Boxing day, all my decorations and clean. It’s how I was raised. This year however I have been dealing with no heat in my home and frozen water. So I left the pretty twinkle lights and decorations for a couple extra days for comfort and help me feel more positive.

But today I decided I needed to start gathering everything up to allow room for new year, new me, fresh start.

Feels pretty empty in my tiny home now that it’s all pulled down, packed up and gone.

Yes, I have heat again and water😁

I’m curled up on my couch, with my tea, book and blanket by the fireplace now.
