Four more days till Christmas! If you have kids, who’s more excited? You or the kids?

If you were to ask my Mom, she would have said her. She use to love spoiling the grandkids.

Now a days with no little ones at home I still get excited but more for the fact that I’ll see my Dad and son for Christmas day. Dinner and maybe a game of scrabble or something.

Today I seemed to find my mind wandering back to yesteryears and all the hidden treasures of memories that kept showing up to make me smile. Must have made my coworkers a little paranoid when they’d walk into the room and I was smiling for no reason 🤣 Best way to keep everyone on their toes.

One memory I have is my Dad reading to us kids, the story “T’was the Night Before Christmas “. I’ll have to find that picture. So you can see how cute we were 😁

I also have a memory of my dad reading to us the last Christmas mom was with us. I wonder where I put that photo🤔

But that’s how my brain was working today. Remembering when I was little and flashing back to when my son was, and we were doing the same traditions.
