Have you ever had a Monday that got away with you and you thought, “it MUST be Friday!”? Yeah, that was my day today.
I was at work and next thing I know, I was heading home after appointments and trying to figure out what to make for supper.
Of course when days like that happen, I can’t really seem to focus on things that I know I should do and just end up cuddling my cat and watching a movie I’ve seen a few hundred times, drinking tea.
Today all I wanted to do was stop.

So I listened to my body, and did just that. Well, I didn’t really stop until after I picked my son up from work, but I did get rest moments in, in between.
I pulled out one of my favorite movies, Journey to the Center of the Earth with Brendan Fraser… he has such a great sense of humor, grabbed my tea and just stopped.

It was probably the best thing I could do for my mental state.
So today, I’m going to say, Stop. Just allow yourself to be and don’t think. Make time for you to enjoy doing nothing. I know it’s hard for some people to do that but trust me, it’s the best feeling in the world. Being able to recharge your batteries so you can really get to the end of the week without losing your sh$t.
