Normally the second day of December is when I start decorating the homestead. But after the past couple years, with everything going on in my family and around me, I decided to decorate early.
Sorry my American friends. I started on your Thanksgiving day, but to be fair, I’m grateful I had time and energy.
Traditional I put just a few decorations up. However this year, everything went up.

The outdoor lanterns are so pretty. I’ll have to tell you about them sometime.

I love the traditional colored lights. And tend to go overboard with them. Hee hee
This year I added a string of white lights that have tiny presents attached as covers.

And yes, I put my tree up early too.

My dad tore out the old unit and put in a fireplace for me so it looks different than when I first decorated. I love the look!
Well, cards are written, for the most part. Still have a few to make this weekend for handing out to my local friends. These ones in the picture will get mailed later today.
